Pasta Primavera

This is a healthy dish loaded with lots of vegetables so of course I didn't like it. Rarely do we cook without meat but this was a nice change.
Pasta Primavera
Ingredients
12 oz. penne
2 Tbsp oil
1 tsp min garlic
1 1/2 tsp dried basil
1/4 tsp black pepper
3 bell peppers-green, red & yellow- cut into strips
8 oz sliced mushrooms
14 oz. can diced tomatoes, undrained 
1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese

Cook pasta by package directions; drain and set aside
In large skillet on medium high, heat oil
Add onion and garlic & cook for 1 minute
Add pepper strips & mushrooms, cook for 2 minutes 
Add undrained tomatoes, basil and black pepper
Bring to boil then reduce to simmer for 5 minutes
Toss vegetable mix with pasta & parmesan cheese
